Privacy policy
1. Who processes the data
The data controller is the maker of Normie Fight ("we"). Contact about your data: the feedback form in the game (the ๐ฌ button on the start screen).
2. What data and why
- Online fights: characters, arena, the moves of every frame and the result, under a random device id. Used to compute the result on the server and for the fight history. Basis: providing the service you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Replay links, if you share one: the fight's moves, characters, arena and caption. Anyone with the link can watch the replay. Basis: providing the service.
- Game statistics (only with your consent): which screens you see, which fights you finish, where you came from (e.g. a replay link), errors in the browser. We collect them ourselves and through a third-party analytics tool (cookies), no ads. Basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). To withdraw it, clear this site's data in your browser; the game will ask again.
- Feedback sent through the in-game form: the text and rating, plus basic technical details (e.g. game version, browser, language). Basis: legitimate interest (improving the game, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Server log: your IP address for a short time, to limit abuse (e.g. the replay upload limit). Basis: legitimate interest (security).
3. Who receives the data
We share data only with those who help us run the game: our hosting and database provider and (with your consent) the analytics provider. Some of them may process data outside the EEA; if so, only with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
4. How long
- Online fight history and statistics: up to 24 months, then deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
- Replays: while the game runs, or until you ask us to delete one.
- Feedback: up to 24 months.
5. Cookies and browser storage
- In the browser's storage (localStorage): the device id, settings, achievements, career progress and your choice about statistics. This stays on your device.
- Statistics cookies, only after you agree.
- We don't use advertising cookies.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time (by clearing this site's data in your browser). Withdrawing consent doesn't affect what happened before. For anything else, write to us through the feedback form in the game (๐ฌ). You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, uodo.gov.pl).
7. Changes
We'll announce changes to this policy in the game. The current version is always at this address.
